Mum’s The Word - Ladies Only Bar Hop & Mum Wearing Day!

If you hear the word “Mum” and immediately think of a British child calling for their mother instead of a gigantic ribbon chest corsage - you’re probably not from the south 🤠

For you non-Texans, a mum is essentially a giant corsage that high school girls wear the day of their homecoming football game. You know how peacocks have elaborate ridiculously large feathers to get the attention of their mate? Well this is kinda the same thing - the bigger the mum, the more your HOCO date must love you duh 💅🏽

I’m hosting a ladies only mum bar hop where we all come dressed wearing a mum! You can create your own (Michael’s & Hobby Lobby usually have the supplies out for them this time of year), buy one already made (Painted Tree Boutique is a good place to look!) or even wear that one stashed away in your parent’s attic from junior year 🤷🏼‍♀️

Homecoming probably isn’t something we want to relive (unlike Prom - it’s not THAT memorable) but I think I speak for every southern gal when I say we are 100% down for a reason to don a mum again 💐

Best mum? There will be a prize for whoever has the best of the best so be creative ladies!
